HUMAN TOUCH / tactility in digital space / by charlotte roe

welcome

The objects collected here are a mixture of sculptures and found objects but every one is human-made. Each sound is created by direct manipulation by the human hand. I present this digital space for you to do with as you please, but if you're the kind of person who likes a little instruction, how about this? Put on a pair of headphones and experiment with combining sounds and adjusting volumes until you've created your very own sound sculpture, try and focus on the sense of tactility and the emotions you can create within yourself with different combinations.

If you'd like to save your creation or take any of these samples to use in other projects, I'd recommend using Chrome Audio Capture, a free browser extension that allows you to record audio within a tab and download it as an .mp3 or .wav file.

stay as long as you'd like...

(headphones recommended)
